fun stuff i have thought of and learned in regards to God.

Blessing and Gifts are different. So blessings are predicated (dependent upon) righteous acts, which can be described as being obedient to commandments. Gifts are an endowment given without expectation of reciprocity and are not dependent upon righteous acts. To go further, some gifts are the result of another's actions, and such a gift may be a blessing for another. Example, a family may pray for another's livelihood and that "other" may receive a gift to improve their livelihood.
