Directions for Sparky Photo -
1. Get a whisk, string, and Steel Wool (between grades 0000 and 0. 3 bucks at Home Depot.)
2. Attach string (I used rope to be honest) to whisk.
3. Stuff a little bit of steel wool (if you fluff it out you get more sparks.)
4. Take a 9 volt battery or lighter to it and swing it around.
5. Exposure - 5 seconds. f/18. White balance - Tungsten. (i'm sure if you tried some other variations you could get some pretty awesome results.
6. Be careful - don't hit the camera with sparks, they could dry themselves onto the lens.
7. have fun :)
note - does not need darkness, I have seen it done in the light.
